Who We Are
Annie and I met at Bible college and were married in July of 2008. We then served on the church staff for four years at the church in Connecticut where I grew up. Annie taught in the Christian school. I served as the missionary liaison, bus mechanic, and a school teacher. We also served in the Bus ministry and taught Sunday school. Some of our bus riders started coming out to the church-wide soul winning times, and three of our bus workers became bus captains. In that time, the Lord also brought us in contact with Burmese refugees in Hartford, CT. Many of whom got saved, baptized, and started attending church. In 2012 we moved up to Troy, NY to help out in the church there and to prepare for deputation. We met more Burmese refugees in the Albany area of NY.
Our deputation lasted four and a half years from 2014-2018. In that time we visited nearly 400 churches in 37 states. Each of those meetings were just as special as the rest. We had the opportunity to lead people to Christ and see them get baptized, to be involved in VBS and junior church services, to encourage pastors and exhort church members, to forge lasting friendships through the fellowship of the gospel, and to meet many of the Myanmar people in every major city and many towns in the States.
In November of 2018, we moved to Mawlamyine (pronounced Moe-lah-mee-ang), Mon State (pronounced with a long “o” sound). We are members of Mawlamyine Baptist Church and enjoy serving the Lord with Pastor Peter Judson and his family.
